In addition to door-to-door sales, Ranger has increasingly established itself in retail sales channels to include all internal and external expansion measures. Ranger has been handling sales of RWE electricity and gas contracts in the RWE energy shops since 2013. The primary goal is for RWE to gain new B2C customers and to specifically win back former customers. As a full-service provider, Ranger is responsible for comprehensive planning, control and implementation of new shops and promotional sites. This includes the development of sales teams and the management of joint initiatives to increase sales and gain new customers. Ranger is also responsible for supporting gas contract acquisitions in the surrounding sales areas using a mobile field service developed exclusively for RWE.
Following the successful launch of the RWE energy shops in Kaarst and Mettmann (Germany) and the gradual expansion of the sales force, the project was expanded to include a shop-in-shop solution in a Deutsche Telekom outlet in Kaarst. After this was successfully established, an energy shop was opened in 2014 in the city of Hennef. Our sales performance resulted in up to 4,000 new electricity and gas contracts per month. In less than a year we managed to increase RWE sales revenues by more than 500%! Ranger launched a similar project for Vodafone in 2014. For this customer, we support the Vodafone shop with sales of products and services in the B2C and SOHO segments. Booking and activation takes place on Vodafone's in-house systems. The first, highly successful pilot site is located in Duisburg. A Germany-wide rollout is planned for the near future.
